Nice kayak carrier This is a great kayak carrier. As you realize, the “vertical” bar folds down when not in use, or can be positioned at an angle for some carries. The vertical bar has some squishy padding; the horizontal supports that make the “J” have a very firm (only slightly squishy) padding (the sort of stripes that are light gray).
