I bought these because I thought they would be better than typical round foam pads I have some Yakima square bars and they do not strap on tightly to them, so the pads tend to roll off the cross bars (leaving my boards just against the hard metal rack…). I bought these because I thought they would be better than typical round foam pads, but they fit quite poorly. The buckles and case are of good quality!I think they would work much better with big FAT aero bars, but not really well with narrow aftermarket square or round bars.

Seems to be a solid product except on of the tie-down straps had some unraveled strands on the end…would like to exchange just the strap but you can only return the whole package? Not worth the trouble since I need to use this in just a couple days and there is no way to contact the seller about it :/

great These are a great buy. easy to use and very secure. Super easy to get on and off. (for that reason I recommend taking them off and leaving them in your car when you are in the water. Get ’em. They get the job done.
